Students become information literate by using the library media center effectively.Students will be responsible for: assisting students and staff in using library resources; working the circulation desk; preparing and repairing materials for the library collection; and learning the Dewey Decimal System by shelving books and magazines.Additional duties will be assigned as needed.

The main focus of Transition 11 is preparing students to successfully transition to post-secondary education and employment. In order to do this it is essential that students have appropriate and effective communication skills. Therefore, our first unit will be Healthy Communication.
The purpose of Transition 9 is to assist 9th graders in successfully transitioning to the high school setting. The first unit of study will be Study Skills. The second unit will be Valuing Yourself. Self-esteem is an important element in being successful in any setting. During this unit students will read and discuss a variety of topics, complete self-esteem surveys and activities, and develop a framework for lifelong positive self-esteem habits.

Physics in a 11th and 12th grade course in which students learn about the physical laws of the universe.
Physical Science is a 9th grade course in which students learn about chemistry, physics, earth science and astronomy.
Chemistry class is for 11th and 12 graders. Students learn parts of an atom, elements and their symbols, electron configuration, periodic table, moles, stoichiometry, limiting reagents, percent composition, radioactivity, organic chemistry, gass laws, reactivity, and soluability rules.
Anatomy and Physiology is a course for 10th and 11th graders in which students learn the 11 body systems, cell biology, chemistry of life, epidermis, skeletal, muscles, nervous, special senses, endocrine, respiratory,circulatory, and reproductive.
Biology Class: 10th grade level. Study of the Nature of Science, classification of life, ecology, biomes, cells, osmosis/diffusion, mitosis, meiosis, DNA, protein synthesis, chromosomal abnormalities, inherited diseases, communicable diseases, body systems, and evolution.
